Ingredients:\u2013 2 pounds potatoes, thinly sliced\u2013 1 large onion, thinly sliced\u2013 2 tablespoons olive oil\u2013 1 teaspoon salt\u2013 \u00bd teaspoon black pepper\u2013 1 teaspoon garlic powder\u2013 1 teaspoon dried thyme\u2013 1 cup heavy cream\u2013 1 cup milk\u2013 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)\u2013 2 tablespoons fresh parsley or dill, chopped (for garnish)Instructions:Preheat the Oven:\u2013 Preheat your oven to 375\u00b0F (190\u00b0C).Prepare the Potatoes and Onions:\u2013 In a large bowl, combine the sliced potatoes and onions. Drizzle with olive oil, and add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme. Toss to coat the potatoes and onions evenly.Assemble the Bake:\u2013 Grease a baking dish or cake pan.
