Seafood Linguine with Garlic White Wine and Herbs<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Al dente linguine tossed in a garlicky white wine-butter sauce loaded with shrimp, clams, mussels, and burst tomatoes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ingredients<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Linguine 12 oz<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Olive oil 2 tbsp<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Butter 3 tbsp, divided<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Garlic 5 cloves, thinly sliced<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Red pepper flakes 1\/4 tsp<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dry white wine 1\/2 cup<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Seafood or clam juice 1\/2 cup<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cherry tomatoes 1.5 cups, halved<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shrimp 3\/4 lb, peeled\/deveined<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Littleneck clams 1 lb, scrubbed<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mussels 1 lb, debearded and scrubbed<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lemon zest 1 tsp + lemon juice 2 tbsp<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fresh parsley 1\/3 cup, chopped<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Salt and black pepper<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Instructions<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cook linguine in well\u2011salted water until al dente; reserve 3\/4 cup pasta water and drain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a wide pot, warm oil and 2 tbsp butter over medium. Add garlic and red pepper; cook 45\u201360 seconds until fragrant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Add wine and seafood stock; simmer 2 minutes. Stir in tomatoes; cook until just softened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Add clams and mussels; cover and steam 4\u20136 minutes until shells open. Discard any that stay closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Add shrimp; cook 2 minutes until pink. Toss in linguine with remaining 1 tbsp butter, lemon zest\/juice, parsley, and enough pasta water to create a glossy sauce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
