Creamy Crab & Shrimp with Spinach<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ingredients:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 tbsp butter<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3 cloves garlic, minced<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1\/2 small onion, finely chopped<\/p>\n\n\n\n
8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6 oz lump crab meat (or imitation crab if preferred)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 cup heavy cream<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1\/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1\/4 tsp paprika<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1\/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional for a little heat)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Salt & pepper, to taste<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fresh parsley, for garnish<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Juice of 1\/2 lemon<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Instructions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. Saut\u00e9 aromatics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and onion, saut\u00e9 until fragrant and translucent (about 2\u20133 minutes).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. Cook shrimp:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Add shrimp, season with a bit of salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook 2\u20133 minutes per side, just until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. Wilt spinach:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the same pan, add spinach and co<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. Make creamy sauce:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese. Let it simmer gently for 2\u20133 minutes until slightly thickened. Add red pepper flakes if using.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5. Add crab and shrimp back:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gently fold in the crab meat and cooked shrimp. Warm through for another 1\u20132 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6. Finish it off:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
