2 pounds ground beef
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1\/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Gravy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
2 cups beef broth
1\/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1\/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prepare the Beef Mixture:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onions, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients are well blended.
Shape the mixture into oval or round patties, approximately 1\/2 inch thick.
Brown the Patties:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heat a bit of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Brown the patties on both sides until they form a golden-brown crust. They do not need to be fully cooked at this stage. Remove the patties and set aside.

Season the gravy with salt and pepper to your taste.

Preheat your oven to 350\u00b0F (175\u00b0C).
Arrange the browned patties in a single layer in a baking dish.
Pour the prepared gravy over the patties, ensuring they are well covered.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
