PREPARATION STAGE (VERY IMPORTANT)

Take your time here — this makes cooking easy later.

Step 1: Prepare Shrimp

  1. Wash shrimp under cold water
  2. Remove shell if not already removed
  3. Devein (remove black line on back)
  4. Pat completely dry with paper towel

👉 Dry shrimp = better searing

Step 2: Chop Everything

  • Onion → very fine pieces
  • Garlic → very small (almost paste)
  • Sun-dried tomatoes → thin strips or small chunks
  • Spinach → rinse and keep ready

Step 3: Measure Everything

Put all ingredients in small bowls so you don’t panic while cooking.

 COOKING PROCESS (VERY DETAILED)

STEP 1: SEASON THE SHRIMP

  1. Place shrimp in a bowl
  2. Add:
    • Salt
    • Black pepper
    • Paprika
  3. Mix gently using hands or spoon

Every shrimp should be coated evenly

STEP 2: COOK THE SHRIMP PERFECTLY

Heat the Pan

  1. Place a large pan on stove
  2. Turn heat to medium-high
  3. Add:

    → Do NOT overcrowd
  2. Let cook WITHOUT touching for 1–2 minutes
  3. Flip each shrimp
  4. Cook another 1–2 minutes

How to Know It’s Done

  • Color turns pink
  • Shape becomes slightly curved (like “C”)
  • Not tightly curled (that means overcooked)

Remove Shrimp

  • Take shrimp out immediately
  • Place on a plate

IMPORTANT: They will cook more later, so don’t overcook no

STEP 3: BUILD THE BASE FLAVOR

Use the SAME pan (this keeps flavor).

Add Butter

Cook Onion

  1. Add chopped onion
  2. Cook for 3–5 minutes

Stir occasionally
Onion should become soft and slightly golden

Add Garlic

  1. Add minced garlic
  2. Cook for 30–60 seconds only

Do NOT burn garlic — it becomes bitter

STEP 4: CREATE THE SAUCE

Add Liquid

  1. Pour in chicken broth
  2. Immediately scrape bottom of pan

This lifts all the flavor stuck to the pan

Add Cream

  1. Pour heavy cream slowly
  2. Stir continuously

Add Seasonings

Now add:

  • Italian seasoning

STEP 5: ADD CHEESE

  1. Lower heat slightly
  2. Add parmesan cheese gradually

Add little by little while stirring

  1. Stir until fully melted

What Happens Here

  • Sauce becomes creamy
  • Texture becomes smooth
  • Flavor becomes rich

STEP 6: ADD VEGETABLES

Add Sun-Dried Tomatoes

  • Stir them into sauce

Adds tangy flavor

Add Spinach

  1. Add spinach
  2. Stir gently
  3. Cook until wilted (1–2 minutes)

Spinach will shrink a lot — that’s normal

STEP 7: FINAL COMBINATION

  1. Add shrimp back into pan
  2. Mix gently
  3. Let everything cook together for 2–3 minutes
