1/4 cup powdered sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons lemon zest (about 2 lemons)
1/4 cup lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
Powdered sugar for dusting

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish and set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, softened butter, and 1/4 cup powdered sugar. Mix until crumbly.
Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
While the crust is baking, prepare the lemon filling. In another bowl, beat the eggs until light and fluffy.
Gradually add in the granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour, baking powder, salt, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Mix until well combined.
Pour the lemon filling over the baked crust and return the dish to the oven.
Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the filling is set and the edges are lightly golden brown.
Allow the bars to cool completely in the baking dish on a wire rack.
Once cooled, dust the top with powdered sugar
