Flavorful Meat Tenderization Recipe
Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, chopped onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined, then shape the mixture into oval-shaped patties.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the beef patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through. Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms and minced garlic. Cook for 5-6 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and golden brown.
Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and garlic, stirring constantly, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to cook out the raw flour taste.
Gradually pour in the beef broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until the gravy thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in the heavy cream and return the beef patties to the skillet, spooning the mushroom gravy over the top. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat the patties through and allow the flavors to meld
