Ingredients:
Frosting:
1 batch of cream cheese frosting
Yellow, green, and red food coloring
Sesame seeds
Fondant (optional, for additional decoration)
Optional toppings:
Shredded coconut (for lettuce)
Yellow frosting (for cheese)
Chocolate frosting (for burger patty)
1 box of chocolate cake mix (or your preferred flavor)
Fluffy Butter Buttermilk Biscuits
Tuscan-Inspired Drunken Noodles
Decadent Crème Brûlée French Toast Casserole
Instructions:
Begin by preheating your oven and preparing the cake mix as directed on the package. Divide the batter evenly into round cake pans.
Allow the cakes to cool completely before assembling.
Level off the tops of the cakes to ensure a flat surface.
Divide the frosting into three portions, coloring one portion yellow, one green, and leaving one white.
Place one cake layer on a serving plate and spread a thin layer of white frosting on top.
Add the second cake layer and frost the entire cake with the remaining white frosting.
Sprinkle sesame seeds generously on top of the cake to mimic the appearance of sesame seeds on a burger bun.
Use the green frosting to pipe lettuce around the edge of the cake, followed by the yellow frosting to create a cheese slice on top.
Optionally, use chocolate frosting to form a burger patty on top of the cheese.
For additional flair, consider decorating with fondant to create toppings like tomatoes, pickles, or onions.
Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the frosting to set
