Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cups mashed potatoes (approximately 4 medium potatoes, peeled, boiled, and mashed)
1 cup warm milk
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons (1 packet) active dry yeast
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
Homestyle Beef and Potato Bake
Instructions:
Begin by dissolving the yeast in warm milk in a large mixing bowl. Let it rest for 5 minutes until frothy.
Add the mashed potatoes, melted butter, sugar, and salt to the yeast mixture, stirring until well combined.
Gradually incorporate the flour, one cup at a time, stirring until a soft dough forms.
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Grease a bowl and place the dough inside, covering it with a clean kitchen towel. Allow it to rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball and arrange them evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cover the rolls with a kitchen towel and let them rise for an additional 30-45 minutes until puffy.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown
