Activate the Yeast: Combine water, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl. Stir gently, cover, and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Mix Dough: Add sunflower oil and gradually sift in the flour, mixing until you get a sticky dough.
First Rise: Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour until it doubles in size.
Second Mixing: Stir the risen dough for 30 seconds, then cover and let it rest for 30 more minutes.
Shape the Dough: Lightly flour a work surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle, fold it over itself, and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Final Shaping: Roll out the dough to your desired thickness and shape it for baking.
Bake: Place the dough on a baking tray, optionally making decorative slashes on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 230°C (446°F) for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
Cool and Serve: Let the bread cool slightly before slicing to enhance flavor and texture.
