Ingredients:
4 slices of ham
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 slices of Swiss cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons olive oil
Toothpicks
Spiced Gingerbread Cake with Cinnamon Molasses Frosting
Savory Salisbury Steak with Mushroom Gravy
Decadent Crème Brûlée French Toast Casserole
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with olive oil or non-stick cooking spray.
Lay the chicken breasts flat on a cutting board. Place a slice of Swiss cheese and a slice of ham on each chicken breast.
Starting from one end, roll up each chicken breast tightly, securing it with toothpicks to keep the filling inside.
In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
In another shallow dish, beat the eggs.
In a third shallow dish, spread out the breadcrumbs.
Dip each chicken breast roll first in the flour mixture, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat evenly with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
Place the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken breasts.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown.
Remove toothpicks before serving
